Joel Tobey has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Joel began their career in 2006 at Heritage Makers, where they worked as an Assistant Manager of Customer/Technical Support before transitioning into the role of Project Manager of Sales and Marketing. Joel then served as a Web Developer, demonstrating their technical expertise.

In 2011, Joel joined American Express as a Business Analyst in Service Engineering, where they made strategic recommendations that resulted in a significant improvement in the new application system decision rate. Joel also advocated for the use of consumer promotions.

Joel later joined Domo, Inc. in 2011 as a Community Platform Intern, playing a key role in driving innovation for the product development launch. Joel then worked as an Implementation Engineer and later as a Senior Consultant, Pod Leader, where they showcased their leadership skills. Joel's responsibilities expanded further when they became the Client Services Operations Manager, overseeing operations and ensuring client satisfaction. Joel currently holds the position of a DevOps Engineer, utilizing their expertise to support and enhance Domo, Inc.'s operations.

Joel Tobey completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Music Dance Theatre from Brigham Young University, which took place from 1998 to 2005. Later, they pursued higher education at the same institution and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing from 2010 to 2012.
