Laura Anonen

Laura Anonen is a dedicated professional with a strong background in community development and public service. Currently serving as a Community Development Worker at Don Valley Community Legal Services since December 2022, Laura previously worked as a Constituency Assistant for Councillor Paula Fletcher in Ward 30 Toronto Danforth from February 2017 to December 2022. Additional experience includes the role of Operations and Events Coordinator at Mining Matters from January 2013 to February 2017, and Executive Assistant at the Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment from June 2012 to December 2012. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Research and Communications Assistant Intern at the Canadian Institute for Environmental Law and Policy from September 2010 to February 2011. Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Honours in Environmental Policy and Political Science from the University of Toronto (2007-2011) and a Certificate in Strategic Public Relations from the same institution (2016-2017).
