Kent E. serves as the Director of Communication & Information Systems for Doña Ana County since January 2023, leading the IT department in maintaining computing and telecommunication systems across county offices and developing strategic IT policies. Previously, Kent held the role of Director of Information Technology at Alaska Pacific University, where responsibilities included managing university infrastructure and departmental budgets. Kent's extensive experience also includes directing IT operations at Atos, ensuring service level compliance at Nokia Siemens Networks, and overseeing critical IT functions at Nokia. With a foundational career beginning at Texas Instruments, Kent has continuously advanced through senior IT management roles across various organizations, currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science at The University of Texas at Dallas.
