Angelique Wheelock has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as an Adjunct Professor of English at the University of Maryland from 2000 to 2004. Angelique then joined The Donaldson Group in 2005, where they served as a Business Manager, overseeing administrative functions and financial management until 2010. From 2010 to 2014, they worked as the Director of Strategic Analysis & Sustainability, focusing on customer service, safety training, and sustainability initiatives. In 2015, they transitioned to the role of Executive Director, responsible for training and development programs, project management, and communication integration. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Vice President of Operations, managing various executive-driven programs and ensuring compliance across departments.

Angelique Wheelock has a strong educational background in English Literature. Angelique obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in English Literature (British and Commonwealth) from the University of Maryland in 2011. Prior to this, they completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Literature (British and Commonwealth) from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1999, as well as a Master of Arts (MA) degree in the same field from the same university in 1999.

Before pursuing their degrees in English Literature, Angelique also obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Geology/Earth Science, General from Guilford College in 1992. Prior to entering college, they attended Washington Irving High School from 1984 to 1988, where they focused on College Preparation/Advanced Placement courses.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Angelique also holds several certifications. These include an Integrity Coaching Facilitator Certificate and an Integrity Service Facilitator Certificate from Integrity Solutions LLC. Angelique also holds an OSHA-30 certification from the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission.
