Weifeng Wang has worked as a Product Designer at Done. since 2022, a UX Designer at the School of Information - The University of Texas at Austin since 2022, a UX Design Intern at Tencent since 2021, a UX Design Intern at DiDi since 2020, and a UX Researcher at CAUP Digital Landscape Lab, Tongji University since 2017. At Tencent, Wang designed 3 new marketing tools from conceptual design to hi-fi prototypes by wireframing, rapid prototyping, interaction design and usability testing for Retail Marketing SaaS Product. They also contributed to the creation of user experience and UI design of B-to-B Retailer-end E-shop from 0 to 1, and designed the shopping transaction feature. At DiDi, Wang led the end-to-end design of a driver service score management tool for Driver Operation&Management Platform, which improved the efficiency and timeliness of incentivizing drivers to take orders. At CAUP Digital Landscape Lab, Tongji University, Wang led experiment design and preparation of experimental procedures, designed interview briefs and surveys, and recruited 30 volunteers by using online ads on various platforms. They also recorded and analyzed the whole experiment process, and completed the information collection and user interviews.
Weifeng Wang received a Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture from Tongji University in 2018, following a five year period of study from 2013 to 2018. In 2019, they began their Master's degree in Information Science/Studies at The University of Texas at Austin, which they are still pursuing. Additionally, in November 2019, Wang obtained a NVIDIA DLI Certificate in Fundamentals of Deep Learning for Computer Vision from the NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute.
