Briana Maddox - Miller (she/her)

Briana Maddox-Miller has a diverse work experience, starting in 2014 as a Librarian's Apprentice at St. Joseph's College. Briana then worked as a School Success Associate at New York Cares, where they managed volunteers, budgeted funds for public schools, and organized recreational outings. In 2019, they joined St. Joseph's College again as a Library Assistant at McEntegart Hall Library. Following that, Briana worked at DonorsChoose, initially as a People Operations Fellow, where they provided support for search candidates, updated job board databases, and evaluated applications. Briana later became a Partnership Activation Fellow and a People Operations Coordinator. Briana also has experience as a Talent Coordinator at Capa Talent and JANE.hr. Most recently, they joined DonorsChoose as a People & Talent Associate, and previously, they worked as a Talent Consultant at Performance Development Group.

Briana Maddox-Miller (she/her) earned a Bachelor's degree from St. Joseph's University New York, where they studied English as their major and Sociology as their minor. Briana attended the university from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained their High School Diploma from St. Joseph High School, graduating in 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Briana has also earned several certifications. These include "Speaking Confidently and Effectively" from LinkedIn, obtained in April 2023, "Unconscious Bias" from LinkedIn, obtained in September 2021, "Diversity Recruiting" from LinkedIn, obtained in July 2021, "Negotiating Your Salary" from LinkedIn, obtained in July 2021, "Managing Your Energy" from LinkedIn, obtained in February 2021, and "Positive Discipline Early Childhood Educator" from the Positive Discipline Association, obtained in May 2019.
