Maya Diggs

Maya Diggs has a diverse work experience that spans from 2015 to 2022. Maya began their career as a Summer Intern at Bergen County Clerk's Office in 2015. In 2016, they held roles as an Intern at Every Child Matters, where they wrote blog posts and created social media plans, and as a Public Relations Intern at Vrge, where they conducted media research, created media lists, and pitched reporters. Maya continued to gain experience at NBCUniversal Media, LLC as a Street Team Member, where they worked until 2018. Maya then joined Revolution Messaging as a Public Relations Intern for a few months before returning to NBCUniversal Media, LLC as an East Coast Page. In this role, they spoke on panels, collaborated with non-profit partners, and vetted non-profit organizations. In 2020, Maya became a Program Assistant at the National Center for Family Philanthropy until June 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Social Media Coordinator at DonorsChoose, starting in July 2022.

Maya Diggs attended Northern Valley Regional High School at Demarest from 2010 to 2014. Maya then went on to Howard University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Strategic, Legal, and Management Communications from 2014 to 2018.
