Pratik Parekh

Pratik Parekh is an experienced engineering manager and software engineer with a strong background in machine learning and data analytics. Currently serving as Engineering Manager for Core Drive and Platform Services at DoorDash since January 2020, Pratik leads teams focused on addressing consumer and merchant fraud while also developing scalable machine learning systems for ETAs and routing. Prior to DoorDash, Pratik worked at Bidgely as Lead Member of Technical Staff, utilizing machine learning to enhance energy efficiency and securing two patents. Pratik's professional journey also includes roles as a Machine Learning Researcher at Caterpillar Simulation Center, Management Consultant at PwC US Advisory, and Scientific Researcher at the University of Toronto, where research on computational fluid dynamics was conducted. Pratik holds a Master of Science in Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
