Nick Vermeer

Nick Vermeer is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience in programming and cultural production. Currently serving as a Programmamaker at Bibliotheek Gelderland Zuid since November 2023, Nick previously held various roles at Doornroosje, including Stagemanager, Bedrijfsleider Werving, Selectie en Evaluatie, Zaalhoofd, and Horecamedewerker, since June 2016. As a Creative Producer at REDRUM from May 2023 to September 2023, Nick contributed to innovative projects. At Ruimtekoers, Nick worked as a Programma maker en Onderzoeker, focusing on public space activation in Arnhem-Zuid, and also as Programmaproducent. Additionally, as the founder, curator, and writer for Stichting Still Sunday from March 2017 to February 2020, Nick aimed to support emerging artists and enhance audience engagement with the arts. Nick's early career included a retail sales role at HiFi Klubben Sverige AB. Nick holds a Bachelor's degree in Algemene Cultuurwetenschappen from Radboud University, completed in 2018.
