Doorways
Asha Sutton is a highly experienced professional in the fields of child welfare and family therapy, currently serving as a Client Services Coordinator at Doorways for Women and Families since April 2012. Previous roles include Child Welfare Doctoral Fellow at Voices for America's Children, where Asha conducted research on national policy issues, and Family Therapy Doctoral Intern at Michigan State University's Families in Transition Program, providing clinical services to families within the child welfare system. Asha has held various academic and research positions, including Graduate Research Assistant at Michigan State University, Project Coordinator at Tomorrow's Promise, and Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Behavioral Science Research Center. Asha holds a Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Studies, an M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy, and a B.A. in Sociology, all from Michigan State University and Hampton University.
