Ricardo Santos Silva

Ricardo Santos Silva is an accomplished executive with extensive experience across multiple industries. As the Executive Chairman and CEO of Aethel Mining since 2018, Ricardo oversees operations in one of the world's largest iron ore deposits, positioning the company as Europe's largest private iron ore mine. In addition to this role, Ricardo co-founded Dorae, a recognized Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum, and serves as a Founding Partner at Aethel Partners, a multinational private equity firm. Other ventures include co-founding Aethel Real Estate, focusing on hospitality along the Douro River, Aethel Sports, which aims to innovate sports management, and Aethel Healthcare, dedicated to providing high-quality care services in Sussex. Ricardo's academic credentials include degrees from the University of Lisbon and Harvard University.
