Dorchester School District 2
Charlynnica Glasscho has extensive experience in education and school counseling, currently serving as the Director of School Counseling at both East Edisto Middle School and Oakbrook Middle School within the Dorchester School District 2 since August 2017. Prior roles include Middle School Counselor and Middle School Teacher at Charleston County School District from August 2015 to June 2017, and various positions in real estate earlier in 2015. Prior to that, Charlynnica was a School Counselor at South Carolina Connections Academy and a School Counselor and Teacher in Sumter School District from January 2005 to July 2013. Charlynnica holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Doctorate in Education from Clemson University (anticipated completion in 2026), a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from The Citadel, and a Master of Education in Counselor Education from South Carolina State University. Charlynnica also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Middle Grades Education from the University of South Carolina Upstate.
