Dan Desimone

Dan DeSimone is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product engineering, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, and project management. Currently serving as the Sr Director of Product Engineering and Quality at Dorel Juvenile since October 1997, Dan DeSimone is responsible for overseeing compliance and regulatory programs in the US Juvenile Product Segment and collaborating with product development teams to ensure quality standards. Dan DeSimone has held various leadership roles, including Director of Regulatory Affairs and Compliance, and has successfully led initiatives to reduce defective returned goods at Dorel. Prior experience includes positions at Safety 1st and Tyco Electronics, where responsibilities encompassed quality management and engineering. Dan DeSimone also contributes as a board member at JPMA: Built for Baby and has taught a course on product development processes to children at North Shore Community College.
