Fernanda Jiménez

Communications Associate at Doris Duke Charitable Foundation

Fernanda Jiménez is the communications associate at the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, where she helps coordinate and contribute to the foundation’s public relations, websites, social media, and other internal and external communications efforts. Prior to her role as communications associate, she served as a digital project manager for the foundation, orchestrating the redesign of the foundation’s website.

In 2020, Jiménez graduated summa cum laude from Columbia University with a Bachelor of Arts in film and media studies and a concentration in Latin American studies and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. During her time at Columbia University, she worked as a content manager for the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University, where she administered the Aging Center’s website refresh, and at a non-profit organization, Community Impact, where she coordinated the TASC program, designed to help adults in Harlem and its neighboring areas obtain their high school diplomas. Her previous work experience also includes a role as a creative manager for OM Media Group, for which she provided operations support for live events, tracked digital campaigns, oversaw the production of short-form video content and supervised script development.
