Benoit Lamoureux

Managing Director - Asia Pacific at DORIS Group

Benoit Lamoureux's work experience has been primarily in the field of subsea engineering and management. Benoit began their career at Doris Engineering in 2003 as a Process/Subsea Project Engineer, working on the AKPO oil field project. Benoit later joined Atkins as a Process Engineer for the Reindeer platform and then became an Interface Engineer for the Puffin FPSO project.

In 2007, Lamoureux joined Apache Corporation as a Subsea Commissioning Engineer for the Van Gogh FPSO project. Benoit was responsible for subsea design and flow assurance studies. Benoit also worked as a Subsea Commissioning and Start-up Lead for the Halyard subsea tie-back project and as a Subsea Commissioning Lead & Manifold Manager for the Coniston subsea tie-in project.

In 2013, Lamoureux joined Chevron as a Subsea Controls System Commissioning Coordinator, where they were responsible for subsea controls commissioning planning and execution. Benoit ensured compliance with project safety requirements and was involved in the preparation of scopes of work and test procedures.

In 2016, Lamoureux worked as a Consultant at Lamex Pty Ltd, where they served as a Process and Subsea Lead Engineer. Benoit then joined SPEC (Subsea & Pipeline Engineering Consultancy) as a Subsea Engineer.

Since 2017, Lamoureux has been with DORIS Group, holding various positions including Director of DORIS Engineering Australia, Managing Director - Asia Pacific, and currently serves as the Managing Director.

Benoit Lamoureux completed their education at the Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC) from 2003 to 2006, where they obtained a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering.
