James Lucas

James Lucas has extensive work experience in the automotive industry. James started their career as an intern at Mr. Gasket Performance Group in 2002. In 2007, they joined Dorman Products as an Assistant Product Manager and quickly rose to the position of Product Manager. In this role, they were responsible for brainstorming new product ideas, managing product launches, and collaborating with engineers and suppliers. In 2010, they were promoted to New Product Development Team Leader and managed a team of product managers. In 2013, they became the Director of New Product Development, overseeing a cross-functional team of 15 and assuming full responsibility for P&L and sales goals. In 2018, they were promoted to Vice President - Innovation/Advanced Electronics/HD and OE Product, where they played a key role in the company's aftermarket parts manufacturing operations.
