Andrew DeZeeuw is an experienced Embedded Systems Engineer at DornerWorks Ltd. since October 2016, with prior experience as an Engineer in Electronic Hardware at GE Aviation from June 2015 to September 2016. Andrew's academic background includes a Master’s Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan, completed in 2015, and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a concentration in Electrical/Computer and a minor in Mathematics from Calvin University, obtained in 2013. Tutoring in Calculus and Differential Equations and grading computer science classes were part of Andrew's role as a Tutor/Grader at Calvin College from September 2010 to May 2013. Research experience includes parallelizing C++ Monte Carlo code with CUDA C during an internship at Carnegie Mellon University in 2012 and operating x-ray radiography equipment in the Drake Laboratory at the University of Michigan in 2011. Andrew's journey began with undergraduate work at the University of Michigan - AOSS, where participation in various research programs and running code were key responsibilities.
