Ralf Königsberger has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Ralf began their career in the German Airforce as an Officer and went on to become a Fighter Jet Pilot and Flight Lead. Ralf also served as a Forward Air Controller, leading a Tactical Air Control Party in an ISAF Mission.
Following their time in the Airforce, Ralf joined Dornier Seawings GmbH, where they held various positions. Ralf started as a System Engineer for Ice- and Rain Protection Systems and later became a Team Leader for Flight Control Systems. Ralf then transitioned to the role of Flight Test Pilot and subsequently became the Head of Systems. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Flight Test and Operations.
In addition to their work at Dornier Seawings, Ralf also conducted research on Ice Protection Systems for Helicopter Main Rotor Blades at Airbus Helicopters. Prior to that, they worked as a Flight Simulator Instructor at Technische Universität München.
With their extensive experience in aviation and leadership roles, Ralf Königsberger brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their current position.
Ralf Königsberger's education history began in 2008 when they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Business/Managerial Economics at the University of Augsburg. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Aerospace Engineering at the Technical University of Munich from 2011 to 2014. Ralf continued their studies at the same university, specializing in Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik, Aeronautik und Astronautik/Raumfahrttechnik (Aerospace Engineering), and obtained their Master of Science (MS) degree from 2014 to 2016.
