Bob Dorsett

Bob Dorsett is an accomplished attorney and founding partner at Dorsett Johnson & Swift, LLP, where professional practice began in September 2008. Dorsett has been actively involved in public service as a member of the Lake Travis Independent School District Board of Trustees since June 2016, currently serving a third term. Previous roles include serving as a councilman for Bee Cave City Council from 2009 to 2013 and as Texas Panel Counsel for the Grocery Manufacturers Association from 2006 to 2013. Dorsett held a partnership at Savrick Schumann from 2007 to 2009 and worked as an associate at Brown McCarroll, LLP from 2002 to 2006. Early professional experience includes a position at Progressive Insurance from 1992 to 1999 as a claims representative and trainer. Dorsett earned a Juris Doctor degree from Texas A&M University School of Law between 1997 and 2000 and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Texas State University from 1987 to 1990.
