Jack Sullivan

Jack Sullivan is an experienced Employment & Labor Attorney and current Partner at Dorsey & Whitney LLP, where responsibilities include advising clients on diverse employment law matters and collaborating with client legal teams. Sullivan co-created and taught the Employment Law Clinic at the University of Minnesota Law School from January 2017 to June 2023, providing students practical experience in representing employees and advising employers. Previous legal experience includes serving as an Employment Lawyer and Litigator at Best & Flanagan LLP, where a notable achievement was winning a significant reversal before the Minnesota Supreme Court. Earlier in career, Sullivan held positions as a Law Clerk for Justice G. Barry Anderson at the Minnesota Supreme Court and as a founding Editor-in-Chief of the ABA Journal of Labor and Employment Law. Prior to entering the legal field, Sullivan worked in journalism, leading teams at the St. Paul Pioneer Press and Associated Press. Sullivan holds a JD, magna cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School and a BA, cum laude, in Print Journalism from the University of St. Thomas.
