Hersh Fernandes has diverse work experience in various leadership and managerial roles. Starting in 2010 as an Operations Assistant in The White House, they were promoted to Associate Director of Administration in the Office of the Vice President, where they oversaw budgeting, billing, and resource coordination for Vice Presidential travel. In 2012, Fernandes joined Amazon Web Services as a Financial Operations Manager, where they contributed significantly to establishing operational processes and developing sales projections. Hersh then moved to the Green & Healthy Homes Initiative in 2014, where they eventually became the Vice President of Client Services, leading a team in integrating home repair and energy efficiency programs across multiple cities. From 2019 to 2022, Fernandes served as Chief of Staff for Solutions and Innovation Strategy at Booz Allen Hamilton, managing internal startup and emerging technology programs. Currently, they are the CEO of Dorvie, Inc, a company that provides customized home services for retirees who want to continue living in their homes.
