William Meacham

William Meacham is a skilled hospitalist with extensive experience in healthcare, having served at Dosher Memorial Hospital since July 2015. Prior to this role, William worked as a hospitalist for the National Health Service Corps from July 2015 to July 2017 and completed a family medicine residency at North Mississippi Medical Clinics, Inc. from July 2012 to June 2015. Dosher Memorial Hospital, a Critical Access community hospital with 25 licensed acute (inpatient) beds and 64 licensed skilled nursing center beds. Approximately one mile from the Cape Fear, the hospital is located in the coastal historic town of Southport, N.C. in Brunswick County. The hospital is overseen by a publicly-elected Board of Trustees and generously supported by a volunteer force of nearly 200, making Dosher Hospital unique in the state of North Carolina.
