Renata M.

Renata M. is an experienced environmental scientist and research director currently working at Dots.eco since February 2023. With a strong background in marine sciences, Renata has previously held positions as a freelance research collaborator, focusing on predictive mapping for the Tango Project, and as a postdoctoral researcher at Universidade de São Paulo. Renata volunteered as a graphic designer for Pint of Science Brasil and has engaged in various research roles, including as a temporary on-board researcher for the Marinha do Brasil and a freelance illustrator for Fundação SOS Mata Atlântica. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Marine Sciences from Ghent University and multiple master's and bachelor’s degrees in biological sciences and marine-related fields.
