Jael Zela

Jael Zela is an experienced software engineer and technical lead with a strong background in developing financial applications and managing technical teams. Currently serving as a Technical Lead at Dotz since November 2022, Jael has contributed to projects such as a co-branded credit card and buy now pay later solutions. Previous experience includes roles as a Senior Software Engineer at NoVerde, focusing on loan applications and payment systems, and co-founding Trueki, a currency exchange application. Additional roles include technical leadership at luizalabs, software architecture at Xperience Incorporated LLC, and various positions in academia and research. Educational credentials include an MSc in Computer Science from Universidade Estadual de Campinas and a BSc in Systems Engineering from Universidad Nacional de San Agustin de Arequipa.
