Brian Donnelly

Brian Donnelly, CFA, is a seasoned credit analyst with extensive experience in fixed income portfolio management and credit research. Currently serving at DoubleLine Group LP since July 2022, Donnelly previously held positions at Union Bank as a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager and Research Analyst, and at Capital Group | American Funds as a Credit Analyst, where responsibilities included conducting macroeconomic research and issuer selection. Prior to that, Donnelly gained experience as a Quantitative Portfolio Analyst at City National Bank, where significant contributions included credit risk modeling and the redesign of the bank's qualitative reserve methodology. Additionally, Donnelly founded the Values and Valuation Research Website, focused on quantitative investing strategies. An officer in the military from 2005 to 2014, Donnelly held leadership roles and received multiple accolades. Education includes a BA in Political Science from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA in International Business from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
