Doug Thomsen

Doug Thomsen is an experienced director and owner of BT Studio, a commercial filmmaking and video production company established in November 2015. At BT Studio, Doug oversees the entire filmmaking process, from idea generation and scriptwriting to directing, cinematography, and post-production. Doug directed the feature film Pride Jewel, which is available for streaming on platforms such as Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Vudu, and Google Play, during a contract position from January 2020 to July 2021. Prior to establishing BT Studio, Doug worked as a freelance director and director of photography from July 2014 to October 2015 and as project lead at Moving Brands from December 2011 to July 2014. Doug's earlier career includes roles as an account manager at Chemistry Club, where work involved major clients like Mozilla Firefox and the San Francisco 49ers, and as an account executive at BuderEngel and Friends. Doug holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Advertising from Western Michigan University's Haworth College of Business.
