Anbu Cheeralan

Anbu Cheeralan has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Anbu started their career in 2003 with Cognizant Technology Solutions, where they held various roles, including Programmer Analyst, Associate, Sr. Associate, Assistant Manager - Projects, and Manager - Projects.

In 2006, they joined a Global Insurance Company as a Project Manager - Vendor Consultant, and then moved to a Regional Insurance Co in 2008 in the same role. From 2010 to 2013, they took on the position of Program Manager - Vendor Consultant at another Regional Insurance Company.

In 2013, Anbu joined the Global Insurance Company as a Data Services Architect - Vendor Consultant, where they were responsible for leading a mission critical project to operationalize the Big Data Platform. Anbu provided technical guidance to project teams, assessed different frameworks, and helped development teams build scalable applications in MongoDB and other NoSQL technologies.

In 2015, Anbu joined DoubleVerify as an Engineering Lead, and over the years, they progressed to the roles of Director Of Engineering, Senior Director Of Engineering, and currently holds the position of VP of Engineering starting from March 2023.

Anbu Cheeralan completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University from 1999 to 2003. Prior to that, they attended St. Xavier's Hr. Sec. School from 1992 to 1999, but no degree or field of study was specified. Additionally, Anbu has obtained several certifications in various fields, including programming, data science, project management, and database management, from institutions such as Coursera, MapR Technologies, SCRUMstudy, Amazon Web Services, MongoDB, Cloudera, Microsoft, Project Management Institute, IBM, and LOMA.
