Troy Conley has over 25 years of law enforcement experience. From 1994 to 2005, they worked as a Captain and the Uniform Division Commander at the Dougherty County Police Department, where they were responsible for formulating policies, overseeing staff, handling employee concerns, and coordinating daily activities. Since 2005, they have been the Chief of Police at the Dougherty County School System, managing a department of 43 officers, including sworn police officers and non-sworn safety officers.
Troy Conley attended Albany State University, Columbus University, and the University of Virginia - F.B.I. National Academy, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Law Enforcement Management. Prior to attending these universities, they completed their high school education at Monroe High School.
