Scholastica Lee, PEng, MBA, LEED AP has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Scholastica is currently serving as the Associate Director of Facilities Operations at Douglas College, starting in 2023. Before that, they worked at the Vancouver Airport Authority as the Manager of Design and Construction, overseeing projects and contributing to the airport's growth until 2023. Additionally, Scholastica was a Project Engineer at the same authority from 2017 to 2023, where they played a crucial role in meeting passenger demands and expanding the airport's capacity. Scholastica also served as a member of the EGBC Sustainability Committee at Engineers and Geoscientists BC from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, they gained experience as a Project Manager at JLL, leading real estate projects from start to finish and handling all client details. Scholastica started their career as a Sustainable and Mechanical Engineer at Bouygues Building Canada, specializing in Public Private Partnership (P3) and Design-Build projects, and managing designs from pursuit to construction. Scholastica also worked as a Contracts Engineer at BC Hydro and as a Field/MEP Engineer at Turner Construction, contributing to various projects during their tenure in these roles.
Scholastica Lee holds a BASc in Mechanical Engineering from The University of British Columbia. Scholastica also obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Sustainable Business from Marylhurst University. In addition to their education, Scholastica has certifications in Sustainability in Practice from Engineers Canada | Ingénieurs Canada and WELL AP from Green Business Certification, Inc.
