Lauren Wallace

Lauren Wallace is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in prosecution and legal assistance. Currently serving as the Deputy Chief Assistant District Attorney at the Douglas County District Attorney's Office since March 2021, Lauren previously worked as an Assistant District Attorney at the Dekalb County District Attorney's Office from March 2017 to March 2021, and as an Assistant Solicitor-General at the DeKalb County Solicitor-General's Office from November 2011 to March 2017, where responsibilities included prosecuting misdemeanor crimes. Lauren's early legal experience includes an internship at the DeKalb County Solicitor-General's Office and a role as a Law Clerk at the McCracken County Circuit Court, focusing on research and writing for civil and criminal cases. Additionally, Lauren contributed to educational support as an Instructional Assistant at McCracken County Public Schools, facilitating a drop-out prevention program. Lauren holds a Juris Doctor degree from Atlanta's John Marshall Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Legal Studies from Murray State University.
