Teresa Hergott Kalkowski

Teresa Hergott Kalkowski has extensive experience in healthcare, currently serving as Call Center Support Staff at the Douglas County Health Department since July 2020, providing education on the COVID-19 Information Line. Previously, Teresa worked as a Field Interviewer at RTI International and as a Field Service Coordinator at Wellcare of Nebraska, where the focus was on preventive care for children aged 0-5 and their families within the NE Medicaid population. Teresa's career also includes roles as an Integrated Health Home RN Care Manager at CHI Health and as Ambulatory Care Coordinator Team Lead, where leadership efforts contributed to the transformation of primary care in the Patient Centered Medical Home model. Educationally, Teresa holds a BSN from the University of Nebraska Medical Center School of Nursing and a Diploma in Registered Nursing from Bryan Memorial School of Nursing.
