Cheryl Mayfield

Cheryl Mayfield currently serves as the Assistant Director of Inclusive Education at Douglas County School District - NV since July 2022. Prior to this role, Cheryl Mayfield worked in various positions within the Clark County School District, including Special Education Coordinator, Case Manager, and Behavior Interventionist from August 2012 to July 2022. Earlier experience includes roles as a Special Education Facilitator and First Grade Teacher from August 2008 to June 2012. Cheryl Mayfield also held the position of Special Education Consultant at the Nevada Department of Education from July 2007 to July 2008 and worked as a First Grade Teacher in Clark County from August 2005 to June 2006. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Curriculum and Instruction from the same university, and a Bachelor's degree in Special Education and Teaching, all earned from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
