Mindy Moss

Mindy Moss is an experienced educator and environmental professional with a strong background in science education and natural resource management. Currently serving as a Secondary Science Teacher at Rock Canyon High School within the Douglas County School District since July 2020, Mindy has previously held teaching positions in multiple school districts, including Aurora Public Schools and Mapleton Public Schools. Mindy's experience extends to roles such as Forester/GIS Specialist at Natural Resource Planning Services, Inc., and Research Assistant at the University of Florida, contributing to significant studies in urban forestry and natural conservation. Mindy holds a Master's degree in Secondary Education in Biological Sciences from Western Governors University, a Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Systems from the University of South Florida, and a Bachelor's degree in Natural Resource Conservation from the University of Florida.
