Jay Norejko Gbfa

Jay Norejko holds multiple certifications including GBFA, GCFE, GCFA, GSAF, 3CE, and CFE. Currently serving as Quality Manager and Crime Lab Forensic Analyst in Information Technology at Douglas County Sheriff's Office since January 2019, Jay specializes in digital forensics and quality control. Since February 2017, Jay has been an ANAB Technical Assessor for Digital Evidence, conducting on-site assessments of forensic service providers for ISO/IEC 17025 compliance. Previous roles include Detective in the Economic Crime Unit and CSI/Agent at the City of Lakewood from January 2002 to January 2019, and Forensic Examiner/Quality Assurance Manager at the Rocky Mountain Regional Computer Forensics Laboratory from April 2013 to December 2017. Academic accomplishments include a Bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master's degree from Stony Brook University, along with Peace Officer Standards and Training from Red Rocks Community College.
