Gilbert Masatani

Gilbert Masatani has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Gilbert is currently employed at Douglas Emmett as an Assistant Controller, a position they have held since November 2021. Before that, they served as the Accounting Manager at Douglas Emmett from April 2015 to October 2021. Prior to joining Douglas Emmett, Gilbert worked at Environmental Contracting Corporation as an Accountant from May 2013 to April 2015. Before that, they were a Senior Accountant at WASH Multifamily Laundry Systems (formerly known as Web Service Company) from November 2007 to April 2013. Previous to that, Gilbert worked at Allied Waste as an Assistant Controller from March 1999 to November 2007. Gilbert started their career at Havas Interactive as a Staff Accountant from June 1996 to March 1999.

Gilbert Masatani began their education at the University of Hawaii at Manoa from 1990 to 1993, where they received an Associate of Arts (AA) degree. Gilbert then attended Loyola Marymount University's College of Business Administration from 1993 to 1995, focusing on the field of study in Accounting.
