Katrena Garoutte

Katrena Garoutte has extensive work experience in the field of Human Resources. Katrena began their career in 1994 as an IT Applications Support Specialist at Orenco Systems, Inc. In 2010, they moved to Douglas County Parks Department as an Administrative Assistant/Office Manager. In 2012, they began working as an HR Generalist at UIIDC-Seven Feathers. In 2014, they transitioned to HR Manager at Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians. In 2019, they moved to Northern Gold Foods as Manager of People & Culture. In 2021, they began working as Human Resources Manager at Western Pneumatics Inc. and is currently employed as Human Resources Manager at Douglas Fast Net.

Katrena Garoutte began their educational journey at Roseburg Senior High School. Katrena then attended Umpqua Community College from 1990 to 1993, where they earned an AAOT in Business & Communications. From 2010 to 2011, they attended Eastern Oregon University and obtained a BA in Business Admin - Management. Finally, they earned a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Northwest Christian University in 2013. In addition, they have obtained two certifications from SHRM, a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) in 2017 and a SHRM-CP.
