Jimmy Montan has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and positions in various companies in the beauty and wellness industry. Jimmy began their career in 1996 at Aveda Corporation, where they held positions such as Director of Corporate Schools, Director of School Development, and Director of Aveda Institute MPLS. During their time at Aveda, Jimmy managed budgets, set goals, and motivated progress towards achieving these goals.

In 2008, Jimmy joined Juut Salonspa as the Director of Salon Operations, overseeing the management of eight salon locations. Jimmy focused on coaching salon managers, increasing core metrics, and achieving financial targets.

From 2011 to 2012, Jimmy worked at Massage Envy as the Clinic Director, responsible for driving business and sales, controlling expenditures, and supervising staff.

In 2013, they joined Neill-TSP as a Director before transitioning to Douglas J Aveda Institutes & Salons in 2014. At Douglas J Aveda, Jimmy held roles such as Director of Compliance & Financial Aid, Executive Director of Operations, Vice President of Operations, and currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer.

Jimmy Montan attended the University of Minnesota and studied Vocational Education. Prior to that, they attended the Horst Education Center in 1982-1983 for Cosmetology and North Hennepin Community College in 1981-1982 for Business Administration and Management.
