Andrew is an Associate Geotechnical Engineer with more than 8 years of consultancy experience across both Sydney and Melbourne.
His work across NSW ranges from small residential developments to major infrastructure projects. From the beginning of 2020, he transferred to Douglas Partners Melbourne office and in early 2022, was appointed to Associate level.
His key responsibilities includes site investigation and reporting throughout the Melbourne region and Sydney basin, implementing various in situ testing methods including cone penetration testing, supervision and coordination of drilling rigs, soil and rock logging and interpretation, construction inspections for foundations in soil and rock, vibration trials and monitoring, pile integrity testing, installation of groundwater monitoring wells and water level dataloggers, assessment of foundations of existing structures, working platform investigations and inclinometer monitoring and analysis of retaining walls and landslides.
He completed a double degree in 2013 from the University of New South Wales in Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) (Civil) and Bachelor of Commerce (International Business) and is both an Australian Geomechanics Society and Engineers Australia Member.
