Amir Omar

Amir Omar is an experienced geotechnical engineer with a career spanning over a decade in various engineering roles. Currently an Associate Geotechnical Engineer at Egis since November 2024, Amir has previously held positions as Principal Geotechnical Engineer and Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Ramboll from March 2020 to September 2025. Prior to that, Amir served as a Senior Geotechnical Design and Proposal Engineer at Ammico and worked as a Geotechnical Design Engineer at INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION GROUP L.L.C. and IGS. Early career experiences include Site Engineer roles at Al MAMOURA Contracting and The Arab Contractors, as well as a Structural Engineer position at AL EMAN engineering consultant. Amir holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Port Said University, completed in 2010.
