Matthew Parkinson

Matthew is an Associate Geotechnical Engineer at Douglas Partners in Newcastle.

He commenced at Douglas Partners in 2011 after completing a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) (Honours) from the University of Newcastle. He then completed a Master of Philosophy in Civil Engineering, specialising in soft soil geomechanics in 2018.

Matt has a wide range of experience in numerous large to small scale geotechnical projects throughout NSW including residential and commercial developments, roads and rail upgrade / design, ground improvement, mining and subsidence, numerical analysis, and pipelines.
