Richard Merifield is a geotechnical analyst and principal at Douglas Partners Pty Ltd. Richard has over fifteen years of experience in the field of geotechnical engineering, specializing in the design and analysis of anchored retaining walls, diaphragm walls, and quay walls. Richard has also conducted extensive research on the use of cone penetration tests (CPT) for estimating soil properties.
Richard Merifield completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering at the University of Newcastle. Richard then went on to complete a Doctor of Philosophy in Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering at the University of Newcastle.
