Peter Surman

Peter Surman is the Chief Scientific Officer at Douglas Pharmaceuticals Limited since October 1996. Peter is responsible for NPD, Clinical Affairs, and NPD Regulatory Affairs. Peter also serves as the Research and Development Manager, overseeing a team of chemists and formulators in the development and market launch of pharmaceutical products globally. With a Ph.D. in Physical Organic Chemistry from The University of Auckland, Peter has successfully led multiple NPD projects and repositioning opportunities, resulting in significant value added to the company's portfolio. Their expertise in API strategy and CMC functions has been instrumental in delivering successful product development initiatives.
