Susan Lynch-Smith

Susan Lynch-Smith, known as "Synergizer Sue," is an accomplished business development leader with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently, Susan serves as the Head of Business Development for Douglas Pharmaceuticals, a family-owned company specializing in drug development and commercial manufacturing. With over 20 years of experience, previous roles include Head of Business Development and Marketing at Bushu Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Sr. Director of CMC Business Development at Sai Life Sciences Ltd., and Director of Business Development for various firms, including STA Pharmaceutical. Susan also contributes to academia as a Teaching Instructor in the Department of Management at East Carolina University. With degrees in both Biology/Chemistry and an MBA, Susan has a strong foundation in both science and business strategy.
