Gurunathan SBS is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in product development and project leadership within the refrigeration industry. Currently serving as Lead Engineer at Dover Food Retail since April 2023, Gurunathan oversees New Product Development (NPD) and Design to Value (DTV) projects utilizing CO2 as refrigerant. Previously, Gurunathan held multiple roles at Dover Corporation from August 2018 to March 2023, including Technical Lead and Senior Design Engineer, focusing on commercial refrigeration projects and the scoping of Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) initiatives. Gurunathan's career began at Whirlpool Corporation, where roles spanned from Global Senior Engineer to Global Project Engineer, managing cost and quality projects through all phases. Gurunathan holds a Master of Technology in Manufacturing Management from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the College of Engineering, Guindy.
