David Lutty

David Lutty is an experienced chemist with a strong background in process development, analytical chemistry, and operations technology. Currently serving as a Process Development Chemist and Operations Technology Chemist at Dover Chemical Corp since March 2020, David specializes in process design, plant support, product scale-up, and problem-solving through lean six sigma manufacturing principles. Previous roles include Research and Development Technician at Vesuvius USA, where formulation optimization and mold design were key responsibilities, and Polymer Chemistry Technician at Sherwin-Williams, focusing on the development and scale-up of new polymer technology. David also has research experience from Slippery Rock University, where synthesis of manganese dimer compounds and utilization of various analytical techniques were conducted. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania.
