Samuel Luo started their work experience in 2017 as a Graduate Full-stack Developer at WeTech Limited. Their role involved deploying projects to Azure or AWS using Jenkins and developing with Spring Boot and Hibernate frameworks. Samuel then worked as a Web Developer at Kāpura from September 2017 to May 2019, where they developed the HOSPO management system and integrated external APIs using NodeJS, Vue, AngularJS1+, and Docker.
In 2019, Samuel joined Transpower New Zealand as an Associate Developer. Samuel developed systems for internal and external users, including PPE Gear, digital devices ordering, and workflow management systems. Samuel used Angular 8, React, Progressive Web App for the front-end and GraphQL, Java SpringBoot, LiquidBase, and Postgresql for the back-end.
From March 2021 to January 2022, Samuel worked at Onit as an Intermediate Full-stack Developer. Samuel focused on integrating AI into user-focused applications in the legal field to improve contract efficiency. Their tech stack involved React, Typescript, and NodeJS, and they deployed to AWS through CI/CD practices.
Currently, Samuel is a Software Engineer at Paloma starting in January 2022.
Samuel Luo completed their education at two different institutions. Samuel first attended Sichuan International Studies University from 2011 to 2015, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in English. Subsequently, from 2016 to 2017, they enrolled at Whitireia Community Polytechnic, where they obtained a Graduate Diploma in Information Technology at Level 7.
