Travis Johnson

Travis Johnson is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering management and development. Currently serving as VP of Engineering at Dow Jones since August 2024, Travis previously held the role of Senior Engineering Manager at LinkedIn from September 2021 to August 2024. As a co-founder and CTO at Jumprope from March 2018 to September 2021, Travis contributed to unlocking knowledge in various passions. Earlier in their career, Travis served as VP Engineering at AppNexus and held multiple positions there from January 2009 to December 2017, including Director of Engineering and Engineer. Additional experience includes engineering management at Yahoo! and development roles at Right Media Inc. and Opus Communications Inc. Travis holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Computer Engineering from Graceland University.
