John Champion

John Champion has over two decades of experience in chemical engineering, particularly in process safety and technology leadership. At Rohm and Haas from 1992 to 2009, John served as a Process Engineer in both Acetylene and Acrylates Technology, managing key projects such as the commissioning of a distillation column and leading a multi-million dollar distillation system initiative. John's responsibilities also included overseeing a team of engineers as a Technical Manager for acetylene production and utilities systems. Since April 2009, John has held the position of Process Safety Technology Leader at Dow Chemical. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, obtained in 1992.
