Clark A. Gunderson

Clark A. Gunderson, M.D. is an orthopedic spine surgeon practicing in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Dr. Gunderson has been in private practice of medicine since 1978. Dr. Gunderson has been Chief of Staff and Chief of Surgery at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital on multiple occasions. He is a member of most of the usual medical societies and the past president of the Louisiana Orthopedic Association. He has served on the Board of Councilors of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. Dr. Gunderson is a Clinical Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. Dr. Gunderson has been involved in many start-up businesses. These include: telecommunications, fiber optics, oil field and medical waste, and steel fabrication. He has served on the Board of Directors of Medical Polymers, MedServ, and Dowley.
