Jeanne Wood

Jeanne was born and raised in Ellsworth. She had an early introduction to the Down East Family YMCA. Her mother, Maralyn “Pete” Turnbull, was one of the first volunteers for this Y. Jeanne began volunteering as a teenager and began employment in 1990. As Associate Executive her areas of responsibility are in finance, HR and IT. Jeanne is also an excellent cook and caters the Y’s annual meeting on a yearly basis.
